 The tooth moving thermopliers can be adjusted with the supplied hex screw to achieve increasingly more depth in the divot.
It is essential to know that the Thermopliers are heated to the correct temperature. If they are too hot, they will puncture the plastic. If they are too cool, the plastic will simply stretch and the "bump" will collapse when the appliance is seated.
Once heated to the exact temperature, the pliers are placed where the bump is indicated. Slowly squeeze the handles of the pliers together.
